Kefu is a registered psychologist with experience working with adults, youth and families. He is an LGBTQIA+ friendly practitioner and adopts a collaborative, non-judgemental, and empathetic approach to working with clients. Kefu has experience treating a variety of problems. His areas of interest include depression, anxiety, substance-related issues, and trauma.
Kefu received supervised training in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-focused CBT. He has also undertaken further training and conducted program evaluation in Dialectical-Behavioural Therapy (DBT). He is passionate with an eclectic approach that is tailored based on individual needs and empirical evidence.

The cost of a 50-minute consultation with Kefu is $165, which is payable at the end of the session by cash, EFTPOS, or credit card. If referred by a G.P. along with a Mental Health Care Plan, or by a psychiatrist, clients receive a rebate of $87.45 per session via Medicare. This will be processed at the end of each session. Up to 20 Medicare-rebated sessions can be claimed per calendar year. Alternatively, clients may wish to claim the consultation fee under private health cover, if this option is available to them.
